| 1874 | Richmond Hockey Club founded, Chairman Edwin Ash | |||
| On 7 November 1874, the first competitive hockey match was played against Teddington at Old Deer Park; 1-1 | ||||
| 1875 | Seven clubs, at Richmond’s suggestion, formed the first Hockey Association | |||
| 1890 - 1900 | The Old Deer Park was now a favoured venue for county and divisional matches and the university match. | |||
| 1899 | England v Ireland at Old Deer Park in front of 3,000 spectators | |||
| 1901 | In September 1901, Richmond HC was reformed for the last time | |||
| 1919 | Richmond HC and Kingston Hill HC merged to form Richmond and Kingston Hill HC | |||
| 1933 | Richmond now had five teams plus a touring XI, the Mohicans, who played at the first Worthing Festival | |||
| 1946 | The club name reverted to Richmond HC | |||
| 1959 | New Pavilion opened | |||
| 1967 | Pre-Olympic tournament in London; ODP was one of the venues used and the club was host to six national teams | |||
| 1986 | Richmond was one of the host clubs for the veterans tournament that preceded the World Cup held in London to mark the HA centenary | |||
| 1988 | Richmond entered the newly formed National League | |||
| 1989 | Richmond Ladies formed | |||
| 1995 | National League Division II 5th / HA Cup quarter-finalists | |||
| 1999 | 125th Richmond HC anniversary ball. | |||
| Occasion marked by re-enacted match at Old Deer Park against Teddington; the result was 3-1 to the visitors | ||||
| 2001 | Richmond HC move to new ground and clubhouse at Quintin Hogg Memorial Ground, University of Westminster Sports Ground, Chiswick | |||
| 2003 | Richmond Junior Section formed | |||
| 2005 | Hounslow & Ealing disband. Mens section join Richmond HC | |||
| 2006 | Mens 1s win Surrey Cup Final 3-1 against Surbiton | |||
