Season 2010-2011 will see the introduction of a Club Umpire Co-ordinator - Mr Jonathan Seymour. To assist Mr Seymour we are looking for all members (male, female, young and old) who either are or wish to become involved in umpiring to make themselves known so we can add you to our database and get you involved. To that end we are organising a Level 1 Umpiring Course at the Club in October - more details to follow. If you wish to be added to the database and are interested in attending the Level 1 course please write to

Another fantastic Golf Day at Westhill GC Woking once again organised by Rod Curry was enjoyed by over 35 attendees from RHC and Dell on 7th June 2010.
With the honour of Richmond HC at stake it was clear from the 1st tee that players were up for the challenge.
Club President Mike Barford celebrated his 60th birthday in style with a stableford score of 35 playing off 18 and came home in clear third after a committee decision cleared up the small matter of 3 players being tied on 35 points.
Mr Charlie Lamplugh added another Richmond Rogue to the honours board by coming in with an extremely respectable 37 points to finish 2nd.
But it was left to Adam Crocker from the Men's 1st XI to top the leaderboard with a sensational score of 40 points playing off 16 - even more impressive given a) his last minute change of club strategy had Adam come out with his wife's driver and 5 wood and b) he scored no points on 2 of the last 3 holes.
So a clean sweep for Richmond HC and we'll look forward to another great day to defend the positions on the First monday in June 2011.
Many thanks to Rod for all his hard work in putting together another super day.
NEXT YEARS GOLF DAY - MONDAY 6th JUNE 2011 - mark it in your diary now !
