B2H – What Now?

Back to Hockey

This is for all of the Back to Hockey ladies who will complete the 6 week course next Tuesday… A number of you have been asking what happens next and how do you get involved in the Club.

Well its really easy as General Club Training will start next week (the 6th of your 6 sessions) so integration will start straight away.

After that then you are of course all invited to continue to attend weekly training on tuesdays – same place same time 🙂

We have 6 ladies teams covering various divisions in the Surrey Leagues so all levels can be catered for and if you want to be involved in saturday hockey then over the course of the next few weeks (see below) you will be allocated to a team.

It would help us massively if you are all registered on Fixtures Live – http://w.fixtureslive.com/ and register. Once you have then on the homepage (Click “MY ACCOUNTS” at the top right of the screen) use the “SIGN ME UP” button at the bottom of the page and join Richmond HC. You will then be added to our database for clubwide emails etc etc.

Dates for your diary are :-

1. Club Trials (no its not that scary) will take place on 7th September between 11.00 – 3.00pm. This is just an opportunity for coaches to look at everyone and ensure that people start in the correct teams. There should be space enough for everyone.

2. Back to Hockey Celebration Match – as part of our Club Day on 14th September we have a pitch slot specifically for you guys – 1.00pn on the sand pitch. This should be a great day and an opportunity for you to meet lots of other people in the Club.

Annual Subscriptions – details can be found at http://www.richmondhockeyclub.com/about-us/annual-subs/.

Any questions and anyone here will be able to help – message us via Facebook or the website and you will meet Ladies Club Captain Alexander Ferguson over the coming weeks who will be able to keep you all in the loop.

Hope you have all enjoyed this years Back to Hockey and a massive thanks from us at the Club to all you lot for having the courage to get involved in our sport again and also to your coaches Robert, Matt and Oli for helping you on the journey.
