Richmond HC is delighted to confirm a new appointment within our Club Structure with Taj Dogra joining as Director of Junior Hockey.
Club Chairman Mike Rose had this to say about the appointment :-
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Taj Dogra to the position of Director of Junior Hockey at RHC. Taj will also be the Ladies 2s and 3s coach in the forthcoming season. Taj brings a wealth of experience to the role which will be crucial to the development of more consistent levels of expectation and patterns of play across all our junior squads. Both boys and girls teams have become increasingly successful in their leagues in recent years and a large number of junior players also play adult hockey every Saturday in a number of different teams. Taj is committed to building on this strong foundation by ensuring that all our junior members receive the highest quality coaching which will lead to further success and help nurture and develop talent.
Taj started coaching full time in 2012 having decided to pursue his dreams and giving up his previous day job as a business analyst. He has been working with the juniors at Richmond for 3 years already as one of the coaching team and has also been coaching Surrey JAC for 6 years and JRPC for 4 years. Taj has impressed thus far and has been rewarded this year with a promotion to u15s HiPac. In addition Taj works at Tormead School in Guildford as well as maintaining positions with Eastcote ladies 1s and Portsmouth University ladies 1s.
We’re delighted to secure Taj for what is a fantastic role within the Club. We have one of the largest junior sections in the country and we know you will all be looking forward to working with Taj going forward.
