Club Day and junior training to go ahead this weekend

Richmond Hockey Club shares the sadness of the nation at the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and our collective thoughts and condolences are with The Royal Family at this difficult time.

In accordance with the published guidance from England Hockey, we will be going ahead with Club Day and junior training this weekend.

As a mark of respect, we will ask players and spectators to observe a 2-minute silence before the start of each home fixture, and players are invited to wear black armbands or ribbons should they wish to do so.

Junior coaches will offer a mark of respect during their sessions with their players.

We appreciate that some members will feel deeply affected by this event and may not wish to participate which is entirely understandable.
